Write a narrative that is based on a real experience from your high school days. Use the print (handout) from week 8 to help you decide on the MAIN ACTION of your story. The story should involve a character flaw as discussed in class. The story should be topical, so use the High School Days discussion to help you focus your story.

CHARACTERS HAVE FLAWS
We have to assume that all of us are flawed (imperfect) in someway.
That is because:
Characters have personal
problems, (e.g., loneliness)
Problems relating to the forces
of others, (e.g., pressure)
Problems relating to the forces
of situation, (e.g., everyone is doing
it)
Unpredictable nature of events, (e.g., rain)
Error of judgment, (e.g., no umbrella)
Change of heart, (e.g., argued with best friend)
Moral contradictions. (e.g.,
want to break a promise)
